What is each Summer Camp/Session?

Encanto – Age 2-7 - This is a creative movement dance camp based on the Disney movie Encanto. Each day we will explore different genres of dance and tumbling and class will be based on the theme Encanto. The student will feel as if they are really in Colombia. We will also explore the nationality and each child will learn some new styles of dance including Reggeton and Cumbia. We will have a craft that represents the theme, and we will work toward a small performance of routines that will be placed together in a small showcase for students to present on the last day. Each dance will be based off the soundtrack Encanto.

Prince/Princess - Age 2-7 - This is a creative movement dance camp based on Disney prince/princess. Each day we will explore a different Disney Princess. Each student will learn about their history. We will incorporate ballet, jazz, and creative movement to fit the theme. The student will feel as if they are really a Prince or Princess. We will have a craft that represents the theme, and we will work toward a small performance of routines that will be placed together in a small showcase for students to present on the last day. Each dance will be based off of multiple Disney Princess Soundtracks.

Magical Enchantment/Mermaids and Unicorns Age 2-7 - This is a creative movement dance camp based on Imagination. Each day we will let our imagination soar as we take a trip under the sea and over the rainbows. This camp is like no other with so much creativity it will keep the student engaged and he or she will never forget this experience. Ballet and Jazz will be incorporated into the class and students will be eager to see whats next. We will have a craft that represents the theme, and we will work toward a small performance of routines that will be placed together in a small showcase for students to present on the last day.

Popstar/JoJo Age 2-7 - This is a creative movement dance camp based on being a star. What little girl or boy doesn’t want to be a popstar? Well here is their chance. Each day we learn about being a star from facials to stage presence. This camp teaches the student how to shine. We will incorporate dance, singing, and lots of fun all packed into a week. Jazz, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater will be incorporated into the class and students love the high impact of class. We will have a craft that represents the theme, and we will work toward a small performance of routines that will be placed together in a small showcase for students to present on the last day. Yes parents as we roll out the red carpet you will be the paparazzi and you will make your student feel like a true pop star.

Ballet Intensive Age 8-up - RECOMMENDED FOR ALL COMPETITIVE DANCERS - Technique, Technique, Technique I can not stress enough. Ballet is your foundation and in order to improve technique ballet is your key. This camp will stress on proper body alignment and placement and will work on strength and flexibility. Toward the end of the week we will explore and talk about pre-point and point classes for next season. This camp is the most important camp your child can attend.

Ultimate Dance Convention and Choreography Age 8-up – This is a camp to get students ready for convention and be able to retain choreography quickly. This camp has a lot of small routines thrown at them quickly. The purpose is for students to focus and dance whole heartily. This camp will have multiple dance styles and students will learn new steps and new mini routines.

Mini Workshops and Student Choreography – Age 8-up - This camp has a lot of mini camps into one. Classes are very different compared to what students are use to. Classes included student choreography that teaches students how to choreography routines, Stage makeup that teaches students how to create the look they are going for using makeup, Improv that teaches students how to improv, musicality teaches students how to count music and the beats to listen for, stage presence teaches students how to present themselves on stage, auditions and interviews teaches students how to interview, and so much more. I call this the camp my little gem because it covers so much more than dance and will make a more rounded dancer.

Audition Camp for Performance Teams Age 8-18 - (MINIS AGE 4-7 DO NOT AUDITION) This camp is for any student who wishes to be part of the performance teams next season. EVERYONE MUST AUDITION. Each student will learn several styles of dance (64 counts) each. He or she will then audition with the choreography in small groups. Students will be chosen for different performance teams.

Pre-Audition Camp Age 8-18 - This is a one day pre audition camp. It teaches the students the choreography ahead of time so it gives them time to practice and is less stressful the day of auditions.

Audition Camp ONE DAY Age 8-18 – If your child is unable to attend the full camp then this is an additional audition camp all compacted into one day. Same choreography. Also if your child wants to try out again or wants to add solo, duo, or trio then he or she may come to this camp as well for another shot.
